Genomic newborn screening is shifting from visionary science to public health reality. For years, ICoNS has anchored this movement. Powered entirely by the dedication of our global community and volunteer working subcommittees, we have generated original publications, established consensus frameworks, and connected over 80 programs across 50 countries.
We didn’t wait for funding to start driving change – we’ve been doing the work. Now, we are establishing the GeNeSIS Impact Fund to multiply that momentum. Everywhere.
The GeNeSIS Impact Fund is being established to strategically direct resources where they can drive the greatest progress: supporting vetted projects, high-priority subcommittee initiatives, and the dedicated experts shaping the future of genomic newborn screening. Our goal remains clear: to create a trusted, sustainable mechanism that empowers qualified researchers, clinicians, and member programs to accelerate their work.
